This is very important. This proves to me they are onto what's going on. This is even more proof, to me, that they stole the election and the people who were working on this. I hope other's have security. Why wasn't he protected? That poor man. God bless his soul. :cry: First the right wing "election reform" group, then what happened with Carter and those theories and now this.

everyone needs to know how far they will go.

Anyone familiar with this case knows there are a lot of unanswered questions with the death of investigator. This is not a new case, but the title "suicided" makes it seem like a new death.

This kind of thread title does not make me want to read DU threads.

Yea, it's there all right. Looks like someone got him with a tire iron or reasonable facimile. And there's another photo of the bathroom sink, the next day's needs lined up real pretty. A person who's comtemplating suicide will not take the time to set out his personal items for the next day. IMHO.

I don't have the stomach for that stuff so I didn't go and didn't want to have bad images when I go to bed (made that mistake watching a JFK asssisination video with graphics and that was a bad move). I don't think you'd lay things out either. Someone got him for sure and tried to make it look like he did suicide. :( He was supposed to speak in Nashville too coming up. :(

Also--I have a question. If someone is knocked out, then "suicided", wouldn't forensic investigators be able to determine that?

Wouldn't they be able to tell if the person made the cuts themselves, or if someone else did it?

A couple things stand out I think.

The handwriting in the note has a neat feminine character to it. His signature however is masculine and less legible.

The "y" in his signature is very different from the one in the word "Mary".

Why write the time on the note?

The word "love" is the only word written in single unjoined letters; twice. This usually indicates discomfort on the part of the writer but there are few other signs of discomfort in the handwriting.

Very concise, vague and generic for a suicide note.

On the flip side, the family has not quibbled with the handwriting being his.

why a person's handwriting might show that kind of variability when they're under unusual stress.

And it's so true that he was murdered and not suicided I think. Brad Blog has a lot of great reporting on this. They note how in the "suicide note" he didn't mention anything of his daughters upcoming wedding. Wouldn't you think he would mention that? And why would he take his life if he was so excited for her wedding? Definietly a murder. Only who?

If this is the straight story, why are we not hearing about it in the media? Our voting situation is the most corrupt thing this Admin. has managed to put over on this country. I still have a hard time believing it is truly this bad. Our party seems to basically ignore what is going on. My gawd, paper trails is a no brainer. A whistleblower that has proof backing what they claim should get plenty of press, I've noticed when it comes to this Admin. it gets swept under the rug. A person could get injured telling this sort of thing!

I'd seen the Bradblog thing some weeks ago; when I saw this title, I thought omigod, another one?

Some very very very awesome detective work over there (hundreds of comments on the sleuth thread), and also by Curtis. For example, the police concluded suicide in large part because the door was bolted from the inside. Curtis demonstrated how easily one can bolt the door from the outside.

At one point, Bradblog teased that a national newsmag might be interested in the story, and there was more to come. Sadly, I haven't seen anything new since.

I have been checking out brad blog lately for stuff. I like them pretty well and first found out about them when the election reform stuff started happening. People over there have made some great points and weird stuff. How he was found in the bath tub but blood was in other places in the bathroom and how everything was SO perfect and on the note it had the time at the top and he didn't mention anything about his daughters wedding who according to family and friends he was very excited about since this was his only daughter/child. Of course people are good at hiding their feelings but just the whole crime scene in general is what's weird and how he didn't say goodbye to his daughter in the note.

I mean, the whole Lemme-Curtis-YEI madness is essential reading for any non-Bush supporter, I feel, but this is a really old piece of news. Had the "suicide" of Raymond Lemme been closed again? I didn't think the Georgia police were quite done with their whitewash reinvestigation yet. I might go check that out now.

I get all sorts of weird stuff on it, then the actual post has lines through every line.

true. A man suiciding would tell his daughter he loved her and ask for her forgiveness..not a nebulous statement like "I love my family" which sounds like it was written by someone who didn't actually know who was in the family.

Especially if she was planning on getting married and she was his only child.

Is very stripped down. Almost school form.

For whatever reason, I believe that the person who wrote the note believed he had no future. The tall letters seem too short.

The 6/30 signature, however, is signed by someone who definitely is enjoying life, big lower loop, tall, dominant caps.

The word "depressed" in the note gets smaller and tighter toward the end and the ink pools in the final stroke which looks like a dot. Was he getting angry at what he was being asked to write? It also pools in the final stroke of the "am" before "depressed." The "am" in the line above doesn't have that.

The capital "I"s are tight and cautious. And short. No future. The m's and n's are needles. He thinks fast and the deep vee valleys between the needles are his strong analytical abilities.

He says he's in pain. I don't see pain. Certainly his hands don't hurt. He has good rhythm and control in the handwriting. Pain does terrible things to handwriting and I don't see it here.

There's no downward slant, either.

According to BradBlog's reporting he was working on something pretty big and was excited about it. I don't think he told anybody outside his work what the investigating was about. Could someone have been spying on him and following and because he was so close to something they got rid of him? Did he keep his information backed up in a safe or anything like that or just in his head? :shrug: I've noticed if someone really tries to uncover things like this that are connected to very high profiled people the only way they get rid of the information is either to threaten them or to get rid of them.

This occurred right when the "suicide" case was reopened by the police. A lot of the discussion on the call focused on the details of this. If I recall correctly, it came up that the file folder of hard evidence "disappeared".

If you'd like to know more, this call is definitely worth listening to, since bloggers were able to ask both Brad and Clint questions.
