NO MATTER WHAT: DON'T LET THEM DIVIDE US PERMANENTLY!
I know we all have our favorite candidate and there have been some heated, even hostile, comments made on the board. Let's keep the diversity of opinions going but chalk it up to the heat of the passion of a campaign in which our very democracy is held in the balance. BUT, when it's over, please remember the greater good and work hard for the Dem candidate, whoever it is.

1. There are VERY few of us that aren't ABB here, loudnclear...
We'll all pull together for whomever the nominee happens to be.

2. Even though
I hate the candidate bashing and hate that we can't discuss without it I can't imagine there will be a problem once we have a winner. We will find other ways to gritch at each other but that is normal. I hate all of this but in some ways it is healthy. There was be some who go away but most of us are ABB.

3. This is a risk we go through after every primary
that is, getting everyone back together to win in November. I can give numerous examples of when the opposition in the primary didn't win and their voters stayed home in November giving the election to the GOP.

4. HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU
But it has already happened. You live in a corporate controlled military dictatorship. The sole question remaining now is one of determining which side you are on and, if mine, how far you will go in opposing it.

but if it's Lieberman, I reserve the right to be completely and totally, suicidally depressed and disillusioned.

On edit - I know that's candidate bashing, which I try to avoid. But he's not really a Dem, is he?
