Is a new alignment of forces in the world underway with US acting as its
enforcer, sort of a global Mafia of Corporations straddling national boundaries? This scenario makes sense to me for two reasons. One is that corporations that always chafed at the bit about obeying regulations of any kind, can now go clear across to the other end of the world to escape unions, regulations what have you. The second is that moving their capital is now only a mouse click away. This enables them to find a limitless supply of cheaper labor, whether white or blue collar,in India or China. As the purchasing power of these two billion people develops, even the markets for their products will expand many times over the US market assuring growth of profits for many years to come.

The alignment of forces required to pull off this feat would be to have an enforcer like the US acting in concert with regional powers like China and India participating as local watch dogs and assuring that no one dares to challenge their grip on power. To an extent this is already a reality. As US corporations relocate and transfer wealth, jobs and prosperity to these nations, others will be forced to join in or lose the action.Us and global corporate power will reign supreme.

Their goal is to create the conditions for the end of nation states. Being an American does not ensure you a hearing from your own Congress because your Congressman no longer works for you.He works for the pooh bahs at your neighborhood friendly corporation. If you think I am smoking some serious stuff consider the following statements:

" An American is no more entitled to a job than an Indian or a Chinese"--- Carly Fiorina, before she got kicked out of H-P.
"We should start thinking of Cisco as more of an Indian or Chinese corporation than an American corporation"-- John Chambers,CEO of Cisco.

Make of these statements what you will.

1. Actually two groups...
One group being the multinationals that are being helped along as you mentioned

And the other group is the resistance. The socialists of the southern hemisphere, militants in the middle east, the sparkling left in Europe.

It will be fun to see them meet on the battlefield.

3. Creating New Realities is their specialty. They have learnt that at the
feet of their Guru Sharon Lama of Israel. When a massive force like US,India and China develops and creates an economic sphere of influence of massive weight, the tsunami effect will overpower anyone who stands in the way.I think that is where we are headed.

The ravenous appetite for energy, raw materials, capital of these countries will create a black hole that will suck everything else.IMO.

4. Poppy made his alliances with Chinese industrialists in the 70s.
No coincidence that WalMart and China rule the worlds of the poor and working class.

6. This makes it possible for us to understand why Clinton and Bush Sr.
are cozying up to each other these days.It may also explain why Clinton kept up the bombing of Iraq even after the 1991 Gulf war ended. It certainly clinches for me why Hillary has been so silent on the Iraq War,the Abu Ghraib tortures. The deliberate destruction of the two party system replaced by face changes every four or eight years all reporting to the same masters and the deliberate impoverishment of Americans and the transfer of wealth to China and India are part of the corporate restructuring of the global economy, free of regulations, taxes, what have you. As Americans ,we and more likely our children can serve food at McDonald's to each other and at fancy steakhouses to the corporate bigwigs and also serve as cannon fodder for wars that are going to be a permanent feature of their landscape.

Brave New World,Welcome to it.
