Wes Clark's 100 Year Plan
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 11:48 PM by Quixote1818
Listening to RFK on Ring of Fire today talking about all the new diseases, the increase of children born with birth defects and how the environment is going to hell in a hand basket I began to think about how extremely important it would be to have a plan that looks that far into the future. Only Wes Clark had a 100 year plan in the last election!

Call me negative but I fear we will have to have an environmental 9/11 disaster on a massive scale before we wake up and change our policies to error on the side of conservation rather than greed, power and corporate interests. I fear Environmental catastrophe in the next ten to 100 years is inevitable especially with China and India becoming industrial Country's and people moving from the country and their farms to the City's in China South East Asia and other parts of the world at a rate that will increase ten fold in the next twenty years. The Bush Administration has set us and the world back 50 years when we should be turning the ship 180 degrees in the opposite direction. We need real leadership at home and in the world community or our Children and Grand Children are doomed.

Wes Clark we need your vision and leadership! We need your 100 year plan. Other than Clark isn't Gore the only other possible candidate who has shown such vision when it comes to our precious environment? What I fear is that the American people don't see the urgency of our current path. We need real leadership in our next president and a vision based on creating a better world for our children and grand children and not on corporate greed. I can't think of a more important issue yet so few people see what I see and so many scientists see looming. When will we wake up?
