People really do stupid things....
and a LOT of people have NO idea how good they may have things while complaining about how bad things are...

I'd love to post some of the "Stupid Human Tricks" I saw tonight, but I can't post the vast majority...so please, PLEASE, to make me feel that I'm not the ONLY one seeing people do stupid things, PLEASE post your favorite NON-POLITICAL "Stupid Human Trick" that you've seen...We're talking "Things that make you go D'oh!!!"

To start you all off with one that I CAN tell, tonight I saw a pickup truck try to do a u-turn in the middle of the block of a crowded "nightspot" area. There was a HUGE police presence, cop cars all over the place, and officers at less than block intervals. The driver proceeded to back into the driver's side door of an OCCUPIED car (so the truck's license plate was LESS than one foot from the guy's head, if the window had been down he could have easily grabbed it) while making the U-turn across a double yellow line, and then had the nerve to TRY AND RUN!!! They didn't get far... There's a saying from a Country and Western song that goes "Here's your sign!" In this case, it was "Here's your cell!"

"D'oh!!!!"

1. make yourself look like a detective!
There is a small community hospital that closed down a year or two ago and lately we've been reading in the paper about how people have been trying to break into it. Because the hospital is defunct, there is not much in the way of funds to hire a security firm.

So they went with "Budget Security." When we drove past the other day, there was a guy standing guard in an old orange-red Mustang. He had blue bucket turned upside down on his dash to simulate an emergency light.

Man, I laughed over that for days.

3. So much Stupidity, Where to start

:smoke:

The one that gets me is, what I call Blue Haired Pointers. I am not anti elderly, I'm not far from that now. However I pray to my God that when I start stopping in the middle of the highway, in the road not the shoulder, in a curve to see the pretty Autumn leaves, someone takes my license away, and provides me with the transportation to the places I need to go. I saw in the local media, a human interest story, where a 94 year old man had just got his license renewed. The story showed him driving his car down the state highway going about 25 in a 40 speed zone.

I recently got my license renewed, and while i was taking my test, another elderly man was rejected (thank God) for failing his test. He passed by me and I noticed that his shoe was untied. Out of concern he might trip and fall, I said "sir, your shoe is untied." He tried to bend down to tie it and was shaking so bad, after about 10 minutes the officer took him to another room so he could sit down. He was obviously frustrated. I felt kinda bad that I even said anything. I saw the man drive away in an old piece of shit car. I heard the tester tell him to see if he could get his med's and come back to take it again.

There is something wrong with a country that tosses its elderly to the curb and says, Your on your own!

Oh yeah, by the way. GW's definition of compassionate conservatism, is compassion for conservatives. not anyone else!

4. Big Caddie goes 1/8 of a block
We watched in pain yesterday as some guy in a big ole' black Cadillac did a K-turn from his driveway. It took forever and we though perhaps he was somewhat feeble. Cars waited behind us; there were perhaps 10 cars waiting for this guy to finish this painful exercise.

So then what does he do? Goes about 30 feet to the deli on the corner, which is in fact right next to his house. Parks on the street and then sllllllllllllllllowwwwwwwly walks across the street, making us all wait for him one more time.
