Wash. Journal's Necktie War - have you noticed?

can we call it Politics by Necktie"

take this mornings show. the host, who frequently falls off the right side of his chair, had on a solid pale pink tie, as if to say 'I'm neutral but not really'.

the first guest was promoting Bolton and had on a solid red tie.

second guest was a prof. talking about Iraq and he had on a solid blue shirt and a red with white specks tie. apparently he straddles the fence with doubts.

third and fourth guests sat across from each other and where from the UK print media. one had a dark, almost black, red tie, and you know where he leaned. the other had a very mod, luminous, gray, red, blue, silver tie, done in tiny blocks.

I'd have lunch with the luminous tie guy.

have you noticed the necktie war?

in one way it is amusing, in another way I wish the suits would grow up. next they will be strangling each other with the ties.
