1. It reminds you of royalty
because only royalty knows that someone else is carrying every other fucking thing while you spend your time doting on the dog that flew in your private jet.

Michael Caine once said that the key to portraying the upper class is clasping your hands behind your back. It's the attitude of someone who expects the door to be opened for him.

2. Yes, but IDLE royalty.
Nothing to do all day but coddle the dogs and pursue leisure activities and travel.

Hand them off to the Royal White House Dog Nanny or something.

14. Yes, but the Duke & Duchess are closer
Because they are so dissolute and they have nothing better to do in life than tote those dogs around.

15. Yes but "W" is such a macho he-man! Idn't he?
You would think he would have a real macho specimen like a black and tan coonhound or an American Foxhound instead of a little lap dog!

and a cocker spaniel.
I'm more macho than the president!

What's funny is that I probably am. I know I'm less of a coward than he is. I'm a single Mom and live in a red state. I KNOW how to fight in the trenches. :7

17. scotties CAN be working terriers
they are not wimpy despite their size. they are NOT lap dogs. i have no idea why they are carried off the plane. they can go up & down stairs on their own. they are used as some bizarre beard that no one understands.

bush is ruining scottish terriers.

24. Scotties are great dogs
Not lap dogs at all. I grew up with a Scottie--my dad, who was a loyal, active Dem, wanted one because he had always admired FDR's Fala. Scotties are known for being fiesty, independant spirits, and it kills me that the Bushes have Scotties and are pretending to be royalty by carrying them around. They were bred in the Scottish Highlands to be working dogs. Pictures like that one misrepresent the breed's nature.

31. I agree, having known a few Scotties. Same with miniature schnauzers.
I hate when people assume that they're merely frivolous lapdogs. Schnauzers, Scotties, and other terriers are very solidly built little dogs bred to do a specific job.

My schnauzer Stanzy isn't very big, but she is an absolutely fearless watchdog, tenaciously protective and courageous to the point of rashness. She also has a great talent for locating moles in the ground and aggressively eliminating them. Behind that cute exterior she bristles with intelligence and, uh, personality. In fact, she can be a handful at times. :D

23. Before I saw the picture of royalty (you'll laugh I thought this)
But I thought you were going to make a joke about the first picture and how low the chimp's dog is. How it looks like....well, I just won't say it, but it looks like the dog is almost below the chimp's waist and the dog is right in front of the chimp...right at that level.....OK, I am ashamed of myself now, I will go and hide.

26. A drunken coke-whore crazy monkey is king of Amerika.
Here's the King we need:

One CAN tell a lot of a man's character from his countenance.

PS: Hey, Stephanie! I HATE lower case kings. They think they're better than other people. You and me are DEMOCRATS. We believe ALL people are created equal. That's why it's in the Constitution. Those who think otherwise are called neo-cons.
