I'm Christian but...I agree with the Rabbi's and Moslem's comments the most. I disagree with the Evangelical the most! Now that is really strange? Maybe I'd better change religions!

Wherever we were, we must've liked it. We kick and cry about not being there. I don't know why people can blithely assume the answer to the two questions of "where" are different. After all, where did the immortal "soul" come from? If it was 'created' at some point between conception and birth, then it's not immortal.

I tend to think it's as myopic to think the 'soul' came into existence at some point between conception and birth as it is to think a raindrop didn't exist (in any form) until it dropped from the sky.
