Guiliani dead man walking 4 Prez in 08, if Monica moved into the WH...
can you even fathom the outrage if something like that had happened with Bill Clinton.

Guiliani moved his MISTRESS into the Governor's mansion, while his wife was still there!!

The nerve, the slime, the publicans better do better than that cause defending Guiliana is going to be a chore.

Guiliani/Rice 08!!!

Please, repubs, please!

1. Delusion is a bad thing
Edited on Fri Apr-15-05 02:39 AM by Bombtrack
Dude, Giuliani/Rice would win 50 states against our best candidate. And you can't find one pollster, whether it's Zogby or the part-time editor for the bumfuck dispatch who wouldn't confirm that they'd kill us.

You know why they could smear Clinton? Because he was a DEMOCRAT. If you hadn't noticed, there's this thing called the media. And it has these things called double standards. Does the clear and present irony that THEY'RE the party of morals and religiosity matter? Since when does that kind of shit matter?

Giuliani since the planes hit the towers has become the most infallable republican in America.

3. Not really
I doubt Guilliani would win in NY if he ran.

A lot of people despise him there even if they give him credit for 9/11. Still even that performance isn't all it's cracked up to be. This is the same asshole that appointed Kerik and had a gestapo police force.

Rice has that little 9/11 CIA warning to contend with as well. There is also you typical racist southerner (unfortunate but true) that will stay home that election. Pandering to hate groups is still the GOP calling card although it's not really spoken about.

When they targeted gays in 04 they weren't just going after your typical religious nut jobs. They were going after the hate groups that have grown in this country over the last decade. That's one side to the right wing media mess that they won't really talk about as well.

The media basically clammed up on that fact as well. These are still the same people that with Condi as VP, would rather stay home on election night. It ain't just about Christians when it comes to the GOP.

2. The Republican primary voters will take care of him for us
He's an extremely formidable general election candidate. Fortunately, we won't have to worry about that because the Republican primary voters in states like South Carolina, and the Iowa caucus goers will dispose of Giuliani early (he could win in NH though). No way those people are about to nominate a candidate who favors abortion rights, has marched in gay rights parades, favors stem cell research, gun control and immigration. Let's see, what else? Oh, he opposed the Clinton impeachment, he had an extramarital affair himself and endorsed Mario Cuomo in 1994. The red state primary voters will take care of him for us.

4. My 2008 prediction for the republican party
Guliani and Condi will never make it. They are both on record as being pro-choice. No one can win the republican nomination with that position. My gut feeling is that my clown-face of a senator, Bill Frist is jockeying postion amongst the freak-show right. That whole Schiavo thing was complete grandstading on his part to put himself in that position. Do you really think Frist believes that she was not in a PVS?? He is wayy too good a physician to commit malpractice by overruling several specialists who personally examined her, and he knows it. His stance was just to get the extremists in their party fired up over something, and he will translate it into a presidential run in 2008. Once he finds a more moderate running mate (colin powell??). If the democrats counter with Wes Clark/Russ Feingold, then we will have the whitehouse back in 2008.

Didn't Governor Pataki object to Giuliani moving his wife and mistress into the Governor's mansion?

6. You never heard about it because it didn't happen
Donna Hanover, his wife, had to get an order preventing him from bringing his mistress to the mansion while she was still living there, but he did not move her in. He moved out - went to stay with friends of his, a gay couple, in their upper East Side apartment. That's where he was staying during 9/11 and the weeks after.

16. Stephanie is correct! Sorry for the mistake
Doesn't change the fact that Guiliani is dead in the water as a repub candidate.

I apologize for my inaccuracy.
