Hannity caught coaching Shiavo's nurses--I'm SHOCKED

Fox News host: Repeat after me

If the conservative guests on Fox News' "Hannity and Colmes" sound especially on-message, that's because they're being coached by the best:

Sean Hannity himself.

On the March 31 installment of the shouting-head show, the guests included two of the late Terri Schiavo's former nurses, Trudy Capone and Carla Sauer Iyer, arguing that their patient wasn't brain-dead.

Between commercials, according to an off-air audiotape obtained by investigative comedian Harry Shearer for last Sunday's episode of his weekly radio program, "Le Show," Hannity coached the women on exactly how to respond when liberal co-host Alan Colmes cross-examined them.

"Just say, 'I'm here to tell what I saw,'" Hannity can be heard instructing his guests. "No matter what the question, 'I'm here to tell you what I saw. I'm here to tell you what I saw.'"

It's amazing how efficient the right wing hate machine is as people will spew the talking points without a second thought. For goons who want to look "good" in the media, they learn the points and say them no matter how they're shown to be lying and/or uniformed.

The right wing is so conflicted in its own lies, it has to create new ones daily...using the usual buzzwords: "librul media", left wing, culture of life and so on to "stay on message", and it's amazing how so few people...even here, pick up on it.

Might be fun to set up a "Truth Squad". I've suggested this idea in the past...people to confront talk shows goons and online "pundits" and force them into the open. I don't expect much response to this...as usual.

By splicing the same exact phrase spoken over and over by many talking heads and pols from all over cable news.

He said that Faux knew better than to coach him on what to say.

Of course Corn isn't coached...he's on Faux as a punching bag. The less prepared and "informed" he is the better. He plays the perfect foil most the time cause he's got "Begala" disease...they always have to say nice things about wingnuts as if this somehow ads to their "credibility"...what conveluted logic.

Lamb should have asked "have you seen a Faux guest being coached". My bets are Corn has but his non-commital answer of "the article speaks for itself" is about the most huevos he could muster.

As usual those nasty Democratic line callers seem to be getting "cut off downstairs" again.

was Colmes THERE when they discussed this? I wouldn't doubt it, he's worthless anyway. I've written to Colmes several times over the years, asking him why he's such a punching bag for Hannity and doesn't he have an ounce of self pride remaining? I always get an e-mail from him defending his actions (what actions?). He's a stage prop for Hannity, nothing more. Like Gallagher's watermelon.

when Colmes is making a point, Hannity keeps his mouth shut. I think they have put a small muzzle on Hannity because Alan Colmes couldn't get a word in edgewise. I loved it when he attacked Coulter for calling him a liar. First time that "person" for lack of posting another word, has gotten really flustered. It was priceless.

Doesn't suprise me at all, rather expected.

had a nursing license. The other two have no medical license records in Florida. Not as rn's, lpn, cna, nothing.

but in many states, the term Nurse is a protected term. One cannot be called a Nurse unless you are licensed. And even then it is best that you identify you level of licensure...Registered Nurse, Vocational Nurse, etc..... (Sorry, as an RN, this usurping of a title I worked hard to achieve and work harder to maintain is a pet peeve):rant:

it's entertainment, "focus-grouped," prettied up, and packaged as neatly and precisely as the latest blockbuster movie.

There is no "news" on the cable channels anymore, it's strictly for entertainment. Approach it from that angle and people can begin to see what we have perceived for years.

I just heard about this and wanted to give it a kick.
