Who, Other Than Me, Thinks Larry Kudlow is a Piece of Shit?
Edited on Fri Apr-15-05 06:04 PM by louis c
I am so sick and tired of listening and hearing Larry Kudlow's F**King cheer leading for Bush.

Even as the stock market tanks, and I posted two days ago a thread about the market dropping a hundred points a day. As it turns out, I was wrong, today it's more like two hundred. Anyway, through all this mis-guided Bush economic nonsense, I watch Larry the Asshole on MSNBC or CNBC with Treasury Secretary Snow telling everyone how peachy-keen everything is while the iceberg is dead ahead and closing fast.

Even on John Bachelor's radio show, which I used to enjoy listening to, especially when he had the author of "House of Bush, House of Saud" Craig Unger, on nearly every night. Now, he has that asshole Kudlow on spewing his moronic Bush Bullshit.

Where did this piece of shit (Kudlow) come from? I know he was an Economic Adviser to Reagan, but what makes his position so important in the media, especially outside of Fox News?

2. I love CNBC
What a wonderful channel. They're openly corporatist/fascist/whateveryouwanttocallit. Their promo's go something like, "CNBC, we're business friendly."

At least Kudlow is honest. In my world he's a jackass, but in the world he lives in, he's doing what's right. What do you expect a guy like Kudlow to do, other than cheerlead for Bush? They're in the same class. They'd kill you for a penny if that was what was best for the bottom line.

3. What......
do you expect.....Kudlow to do.....?

How about tell the truth. I guess that would be a novel idea for most people in his "class".

You call Kudlow "honest"? He's about as "honest" as George W. Bush is "smart".

6. He is honest
Edited on Fri Apr-15-05 06:27 PM by AG78
He's honest to the way he views the world. He tells the truth the way he knows it. It's not the way you or I see it, but that's why we disagree with him.

He works for CNBC. I'm not sure what you expect when you turn on that channel. It's pro-big business. It's pro-unregulated capitalism. Kudlow embodies that.

Truth is subjective. It's different for different people. Kudlow's truth is not yours, and yours is not his. If human history is anything, it's one very long disagreement on what truth is.

8. He tells everyone to "Buy"
when even a layman like me can see the budget deficit, trade deficit, the falling dollar, the increase in oil and gas prices, the interest rate increases, and the lagging job numbers all point to a weak market.

He's a sham, he's not honest at all.

He's either a charlatan, as I believe, or a moron, as you believe. Either way, he shouldn't even be on local access TV.

10. you're not alone
Kudlow's an ex-alcoholic and coke abuser, hit the skids, but now has found fame and fortune again with his side-kick the faux Democrat Kramer. He hasn't said a single thing in 3 or 4 years that has turned out to be true. Why CNBC suffers this fool is beyond me.

back in the 80s that I first heard in my NY/LA days. I didn't hear that he was clean till the late 90s.

13. kudlow was doing this 5, 10, years ago....
911 made him bold! he's a well greased mediawhore. kudlow, friedman, tweety, matt lauer, limbah-humbug, michael medvedev, ledeen, kristol, goldberg (jonah, lucianne and bernard) geewill, bill orally, brite hum, tony snow, the editors of the ny times, fox'news' editorial board, bob schieffer, tom brocawcaw, peter jennings, gerald riviera, krauthummer, hannazi, don imus, tony blankley, fred barnes, anus coulter, bill maher, john gibson, lara ingraham, dr laura, michael savage weiner, john leo, the smiths, kookie roberts, tucker carlson, bill schneider....i could record names for a week and never touch the scale of how many journalists have sold their souls to bushinc and its allies in the corporate rw crime world. and until these pigs cower in their scented thongs no-one on earth is safe...they must be put away, like rabid diseased dogs.....
fact. when one's morals are so depraved they betray their very country/homeland, they will also be found to be sexual perverts in some shameful way....every goddamn one of them! for example: rush limbah-humbug PLEASURES himself! That is fukking SICKO!
aiyeeeeeee!

If i am looking for someones financial advice i want a COMPLETELY objective opinion, therefore i see CSNBC as nearly completely useless.

21. Ex-Alcoholic?
I think not....hubby and i saw him after-hours on one of those horse & pony shows....i think Chris Matthews, around the time of the election, and he was definitely in his cups. So much so, that hubby who is far more moderate than i wrote whatever show asking how they could let him go on the air like that. After seeing that performance, i have not been able to bring myself to watch him. The image is fixed...it was that impressive!

Edited on Fri Apr-15-05 09:28 PM by SeveneightyWhoa
Are you sure that wasn't his normal state? Those years of coke abuse have really caught up to him. He appears quite intoxicated whenever I watch him, even though he's not, so I'm thinking you may have just witnessed him sober and mistaken his drug abuse aftereffects as drunkenness..

lost his job as chief economist at bears and Strean because of his coke habit. He's on CNBC because he's a corporate whore and you know GE, they bring good things to life and then kill them.

He is one of the biggest shills around for Bush on that channel

And his sidekick Cramer is a faux Dem like the other commented, he is a "Democrat" just like Pat Caddell (who is a regular on Fox news) or Zell Miller is one.

Edited on Sat Apr-16-05 07:46 AM by IMModerate
Some thread the other day had this:
http://www.nationalreview.com/kudlow/kudlowprint032800.html
which is Kudlow excoriating Clinton for letting the gas prices go up in 2000. But no complaints when Bush does it.

Kudlow is most offensive though, when he gets into his his moralizing mode. Then he is truly intolerable.

All I did was Google Kudlow and cocaine and found lots of information. He openly admits to the abuse and in this Business Week article says that's why he had to resign from the business.
