Saw my first "Rice 08" bumper sticker today
It was on an Escalade flanked by big black W stickers.
I think she's the one to beat. :puke:

11. Or Roni
Rice/Roni '08

That would NOT be the San Francisco treat, however.

7. Too True
There's too much misogyny and racism in the south to overcome. The only way she'd have a chance is if she was up against Hillary, their hatred of her blinds them to all else.

15. Depends on who the Democratic nominee is
They will have a hard time losing the South if Senator Clinton is heading up the Democratic ticket.

20. I think so too
He's catering to all the right people and he's not running for re-election for Senate. My ex-mayor Corker will probably get the seat since he's pretty popular.

9. No way can she win
1. First she is the anti-Christ or she sleeps with it
2. Second she is unmarried women (personally I site reason 1 why I wouldn't vote for her but I am pretty sure there are still a lot of narrow minded people out there that would have a problem with it.)
3. Hopefully by '08 anyone associated with Bush will be in Jail or trying to run as fast as they possibly can away from him

Thats all I have for right now.

16. Do you think that Boxer can win the nomination?
I just don't see her doing well in Iowa and New Hampshire. and the south in the primaries. By the time the race swings to California, it might be too late.

18. No knowing
Who knows? Kerry wasn't given much of a chance going into Iowa and New Hampshire.

But a presidential bid seems like an awful place to start a political career.
