PHOTO needs Caption: laura bush* brings her puppy into the LIBRARY !!

A terrible example for the children ! some children have allergies to dogs....perhaps this is typical of what laura thinks of the "Black Children" in Washington DC....it's laura's idea to bring her puppy to entertain the "Black Children" IN A LIBRARY, rather than use the time for educational purposes....

2. Well, she did read a book first.
I'm just glad the terrier pin she's wearing is silver instead of red, white and blue.

Is this a violation of the PATRIOT Act, for the *cough* first lady *cough* not to wear a U.S.A. flag pin whenever she's seen in public?

7. Thought she was tapped for Gang Tzar. Her "scottie bling" is quite fly.
She certainly looks like someone who could **definitely** connect with disaffected inner-city youth. :eyes:

Or maybe not.

12. That's just bad form
This is why the National Library Association doesn't recognize her. Well OK not this specific reason, but you get the idea. They really don't like her.

13. Laura thinks so much of that dog that she wouldn't interrupt
Edited on Wed Apr-20-05 07:31 PM by Cleita
its nap for a photo with Ladies Home Journal magazine until she gave in very reluctantly. Apparently, she doesn't think as much of children. Oh, if you get a chance to read that puff piece you realize how out of touch she is with most Americans. They also wrote something about how she raised her daughters to be fine young ladies. Yeah, I wonder if anyone has sent her the "butt dance" video of Jenna.

If Bush is America's Hitler, she certainly qualifies for the American Eva Braun, only concerned about her things, her dog, her vacations and whatever other distractions she does in order not to face up to reality.

15. Actually "Read to a dog" programs are something hot in the library world.
The idea is that kids get a kick out of reading to a friendly pooch.

Not a bad idea, I guess, if you have the sort of dog who can stay still through a first grader's rendition of "Green Eggs and Ham".

Besides, I'm sure the kiddypoos liked Miss Beasley alot more than they liked Laura.
