Another theory on Bolton
Edited on Thu Apr-21-05 08:57 AM by FreedomAngel82
I'm listening to someone on Springer's show and they're making a good point. Bush is obviously putting Bolton through for some reason, but what?? He's either there to destroy the UN or his nomination is for a greater person. A guy on Springer is making a good point. He's saying Bush is nominating Bolton because he knew we would get upset and then we'd declare a victory and then he can get his judges. The guy is saying "we'll you trash one nomination and now you're trying to trash the judges" and trying to tell us we're trashers and he's going to be this red herring. Jerry is saying how if that's true Bush is losing credibility with people for his judges. But then you have to remember that Bush and the republicans own everything in our government. Jerry is saying how the democrats can use Bolton for when Bush appoints judges and saying how he appoints extremists and how Bush is hurting himself with the supreme court. So maybe it can go either way. Oh and someone called in about PNAC. :D And Jerry said a few people have called in to talk about them. So word is getting out. Oh and Jerry said PNAC is very true and not a theory. (Jerry read the list of people on there and Bolton is one of them)

2. Delusional Republicans
They are starting to believe their own spin. They get elected by playing to the base that still believes in US superiority. While we been running around saying we are the greatest power in the world other countries, China, India, EU have been quietly building around us. The superiority complex plays well in Red States but its just not true. They believe a bull-headed asshole at the UN to kick butts and take names is just what this world needs. But instead he will just be the ostracized bully with no friends who broods in the corner while everyone else gets their agendas passed. The UN will be revamped but with Bolton we will be left out of the process.
