1. Mr "I'm whatever you want me to be" keeps showing he's not very good
at any of it, and he's rapidly running out of career options.

2. A lot of so-called libertarians are like some so-called bisexuals....
...who just don't want to admit they are gay.

(and no, I don't mean ALL bisexuals are that way).

bad record. Wants $ and gigs. Almost out of options.
I predict Fox news is his next stop after CNBC cancels his weak ass show.

And will defend his right to do so, to the death! Preferably, someone else's, but still....

24. Sure about that?
yeah, right, like you guys have facts for that one.

http://www.lewrockwell.com

if you can find some pro-bush and pro-republican stuff on that site, I'd be damn surpirsed, those guys are libertarians.

THe difference between a libertarian and a republican is that a libertarian wants less government, not more, both socially and fiscally. Don't liberals want less government interference in society? Libertarians only differ from you 50%.

5. He WAS Backpedaling Big Time
and he was all over Jon Stewart. The two of them seem to go way back to when Dennis Miller had a much higher-profile career, and now their roles are reversed. That much was obvious. And it was fun to watch.

I though Dennis M made a few funny comments. He was definitely better than I remember seeing him recently. "I went to confession, and I said to the priest 'You first.'" And...forget the other one. Must not have been that great.

7. Chickenshit
Miller first sucked up to John, then went to a safe topic for him, der Popenführer, then he took the topic of priestly pedophilia and ended by making jokes AT THE EXPENSE of gay people - that was for his homophobic freeper audience. :spank:

Libertarian my ass! He's a Bush-licker! :puke:

Where's a lemon meringue pie? :D

miller's a comedian, and free to bullshit all he likes. but that doesn't mean i have to find him funny. i'm a comedy libertarian: i laugh at whatever i feel like laughing at. i don't need any damned reasons. all i need to know, is that miller's comedy isn't worth the breath.

14. Oh please, did you hear what he said about ANWAR?
"Who goes to Alaska anyway?" Drill, we need the gas. UGH!!

I thought he was smart but that above proved to me that he is as dumb as the rest of them and that his backpeddling is more lies.

19. He Looked Dissolute, Fat and Worn-Out...
Kinda of a pathetic attempt to 'rehabilitate' his public image ("Some people think I am some rightwing Bushnut--I am a liberatarian") Idiot...

--Bill Maher claimed the Libertarian schtick already and at least Maher got kicked off of TV for being a 'bad-ass' rebel

Miller did the 'rubber chicken' circuit for the RePukes and their Puppet last campaign...

Seems appropriate to repost Rick Chandler's amazingly funny and insightful piece on Miller...Chandler does Miller better than Miller.

"You alienated two huge portions of the public in one swoop -- sports people, and our hip fan base. Congratulations; you now have the cache of a low-level Tom Arnold, only without a show."

thanks for the link, well worth the read

21. I think he realized that the freeper rovbots are humorless so there was no
market for his jokes.

Comedy=Punch through to truths (and gop is about anything but the truths).

Why would GOP want their adolescent fans/voters to laugh at themselves... they have to mirror the sociopaths ... sociopaths only laugh at the misery or diminished lives of others.

They have spend a decade turning their red state people into angry & selfish. The last thing the GOP wants is humor. Humor is not allowed - unless it is Ayn Coulter's humor that embraces the targeting of others.

25. Desperate for an Audience
Desperation was in the air last night. Miller was trying to win back some of his young and progressive audience. Stewart was being too kind to someone he used to respect. One person compared it to giving a handout to an old friend you see who has become homeless.

It is amazing that someone who used to be one of the funniest people on the Earth has dropped so far. Who would pay to see him today?

I still remember a survey that was taken a few years ago. They asked people who deal with many celebrities (such as people working at the LAX airport, etc.) who are the nicest and the meanest celebrities to the average person. Guess who came up as the meanest - Dennis Miller.
