Anybody know about Smoking Cessation injection?

I've tried everything, and this supposedly has an 86% success rate, and is guaranteed for a year. I'm thinking of trying it.

because anything's better than smoking the stuff.

Once you've completely broken that pour a cup of coffee, grope for the pack of butts habit, it might be time to set aside 3 days away from breakable items (including spouses and children, if possible) to scream the nicotine completely out of your syste.

Yep, three days is all it takes to get through nicotine withdrawal.

Most people withdraw from nicotine first, break the patterns that supported it second. I'd be interested in hearing how the opposite approach works.

I'm with ya.I quit again last week.Day 9 today.I started chewing gum with my patch.Did you know there's a smoking cessation group here at DU?

3. Nicotine gum,that is.

Now I'm back at my pre-quitting nicotine level of 39mgs per day.It's the most comfortable I've been in oh,9 days.

8. It's supposedly an injection behind each ear

That blocks the nicotine receptors in the brain. Then the give you pills to take for 2 weeks to get you through the withdrawal. Costs $418 including an EKG and complete physical beforehand.

9. I set aside three days when I didn't get out of bed

get lots of magazines, books, sleeping potions, etc. and literally - LITERALLY - stay in bed for 72 hours. Treated it like an illness. I had to wait a few months to actually find 3 days complete downtime. But when I got up on day 4 I could bear the cravings. It's been a month for me, now. I just hope I didn't quit too late -- I'm 52.
