He then goes on the state one of the prevailing myths...notably we don't have the technology infrastructure to utilize it in the short term.

You'd think that someone whose constituency includes many LLNL employees would have to have at least a mammalian brain. Wrong. It seems he only represents the skoal-dippin', dinner-plate-sized belt buckle populace. That's the problem with commuter politics. You tend not to think of your "bedroom community" as home, leaving public chores like politics to anyone who'll volunteer.
