My Fellow Duers,
This war has gotten a whole lot more personal to me. Brad Moore, a US Marine and fellow Kappa Sigma has been called up to active duty. He will be a door gunner for the many Hueys the USMC flies in Iraq. It seems that educational deferment for US marines has been effectively cancelled. Many more Marines at the school will follow in my brothers footsteps.

Look out for yourself Brad, and give them hell!

6. Sorry. I'm feeling the pain, too. My brother will be going.
He already did his time in the first Bush war. His notification is really out of line considering his present position and age. It's so unfair. The whole family is out of sorts.

Let's always support one another so that we're always strong enough to be brave,...for "the brave".

7. Just because some of us
are vocally against the war - don't get us wrong.

We support the troops and they are heroes for their service.

10. Tell him
And any other troops in your fraternity and college that America cares for them, wants them to return home, and always be alert. If anyone puts them down for going, tell them that they are patriots serving their nation, the real cowards are in DC offices.
