Top Officers in Abu Ghraib Case Cleared

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Army has cleared four top officers - including the three-star general who commanded all U.S. forces in Iraq - of all allegations of wrongdoing in connection with prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib, officials said Friday.

Boy, do I feel embarassed... thinking that the generals, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush were to blame for torturing those Iraqi prisoners. I think that everyone here at DU should apologize to them for even THINKING that they might encourage such acts.

3. Yeah
I know those that did it thought it up all by themselves. They thought it would be great to take those pictures too for intimidation purposes. They sure showed initiative, didn't they. They should have known their saintly superiors would not approve of such systematic and Islam centic type of tortures. They were just some pranksters.
