DIRECTV: Dumped C-Span 2 and NWI 366?
Wanted to check out C Span 2 last night and News World International. The stations were no longer on the guide.

Anyone here know why? Was an announcement made? I didn't watch TV for a few nights this week but earlier in the week both stations were there.

I knew that NWI would soon be leaving because of Gore's new station but why C-Span 2. No more senate hearings? No more book reviews?

I am pissed big time. Thankfully, I have ended my subscription at the end of May due to a move. I had told them I would consider re-subscribing after things got settled in the new place and if I could place the satellite in an unobtrusive area. I won't even consider it now.

1. Switch to Dish
Then you'll get Free Speech TV as well.

3. Mine is still on.
C-Span is all that's holding me to the disk. If C-Span goes, I'm back to free TV. Have you called them to ask, "why?"

4. I have C-span 1
That is channel 350--Washington Journal, House of Representative coverage but not C-span 2 which is 351 and covers the senate when it is in session. C-span 2 covers a lot of other hearings, and book signings/authors speaking etc.

Do you still have C-span 2 on 351 and News World International on 366?

5. Yes. Just checked.
Call Directv or head for their website: http://www.directtv.com/.

Good luck... odd you don't have it.

6. I have both NWI and C-Span 2
I'd put up a real stink if I didn't--that was the whole idea behind subscribing to satellite TV.
