Fighting for corporate interests
With the understanding that the military is nothing more than a corporate security force doing the dirty work of the multinationals, how is it, in this "age of information", that we still have a large swath of the public thinking that the troops are "fighting for freedom"?

Is it the mind control via the corporate media?
Do the troops, family members, and citizens want to believe the freedom lie so bad because knowing otherwise would crush their psyche?
Where has the "home of the brave" gone?

2. A resounding yes to your first two questions.
Many people could not face such a reality that much of what passes for freedom fighting is actually protection of corporate interests. They'd rather believe in fairy tales.

4. Well, that IS the conundrum, is it not?
Question is- how much longer can they
ignore the facts.
No WMD
No OBL
Increase in terrorism
Increase in KIA
Increase in price of living
Decrease in wages, jobs and future security
Decrease in "freedom" and Constitutional Rights
so on and so forth.
And at the end of the road,
FOR WHAT?
Really, for WHAT?
MIC and multi-national profits (who don't
give a CRAP about the citizens in this country)
and being the
most hated people on the planet.
Everyone happy now?
