Yank 'em away from their job that pays them a decent wage, shove 'em into Iraq at $350 a month, and certainly don't expect them to have to declare bankruptcy!!!!!

I don't know what the amount is that the activated troops make, and I could be wong on the $350, but I know it's not a lot more than that!!!!

I'm listening to Mr. Guy James! I was going to listen to BradBlog but I haven't heard Mr. James in a while so I thought I'd tune in. Nice to be here! :hi: Bill Frist sucks and I wish it was 2005 already so he'd go away.

Frist is in a no lose situation actually. He believes that if he looks good tomorrow, then he is firing up his base for 08. If he loses they Filibuster fight he will be seen as a martyr which will endear him to his base.

If you've got something to hide in Washington, the best place to bury it is in the federal budget. The spending plan that President Bush submitted to Congress this year contains 2,000 pages that outline funding to safeguard the environment, protect workers from injury and death, crack down on securities fraud and ensure the safety of prescription drugs. But almost unnoticed in the budget, tucked away in a single paragraph, is a provision that could make every one of those protections a thing of the past.

The proposal, spelled out in three short sentences, would give the president the power to appoint an eight-member panel called the "Sunset Commission," which would systematically review federal programs every ten years and decide whether they should be eliminated. Any programs that are not "producing results," in the eyes of the commission, would "automatically terminate unless the Congress took action to continue them."

I sure would never vote for him!

I liked how he was with the young girl. And, as I mentioned, First Corinthians was AFTER Jesus' time. He never talked about homosexuality. He did talk about divorce and adultry. (Oh if you're wondering I'm Christian and have studied the Bible since I was a wee little girl)

Btw, I didn't have any question about the accuracy of your posting above. It's good to help Guy out. That was a touchy call. That little girl is getting a real workover of her head. Poor kid. She was really churning. Can you imagine her about 10 years from now?

The currently DeLay fiasco was reported first by of all people Drudge. It was Karl Rove's way of dropping the Hammer on the Hammer.

The rreporting of DeLay also came out in the Wall Street Journal about three weeks ago when the mentioned that he had "an odor" about him.

Can anyone give me an estimate of how much time the MSM has spent covering the Delay story? I heard a caller on the show say that all the media is covering is Tom Delay. However, I have seen very little coverage of the Delay issue. I do not watch that much MSM, but I do check in every now and then.

I saw the story break on ABC World News Tonight. Brian Ross broke it. I just happened to watch it that night just to see if it was a "real" story.

but I haven't been watching MSM at all lately. Just Daily show and Bill Maher's show. Robertson, Falwell, and Dobson are bigoted people who don't have Christ's mission on their hearts. *sigh* I'm glad you're talking about these people. Especially now.
