Anybody hear about MAria saying Aarnold burning his kids clothes?
Apparently, MAria Schriver Scwartz.... was on Ophra talking about her hubby. She said, if the kids don't put their cloths away, hubby burns them in the fireplace! If they leave lights on in a room after they left, he just unscrews the light bulbs.

I heard this on a radio show on KGO in SF, Ca. hosted by Christina Craft, a substitute host for today.

I sure understand why Christina kept saying Aarnold should just give the clothes to needy families istead of burning them!!!

What's wrong with this idiot governator??? I don't live in Ca. There sure were times when I was there for business, that I wanted to live there, but after this idiot, I changed by mind!!!!

2. We don't want him either. We were railroaded.
Edited on Sat Apr-23-05 04:16 PM by Cleita
I don't know how we are gonna shake him off because our local Democrats are as much in the corporate fold as the Repubs and they aren't taking the steps they should to prove him a fraud.

On edit, he is raising a new generation of "butt dancers", crack addicts and alcoholics. Someone ought to take Kennedy princess Maria aside and explain a few things to her about her own self-esteem and real parenting.

8. So what can the rest of us do to help you?
I'e been very pleased that a lot of the MSM have been inserting spots from the blogs lately! Pretty amazing that they are actually recognizing that blogs have an impact!!!!

I know Davis had the personality of a door, but haven't there been enough people recognize that Aarnold is an idiot by now? Hell, I don't live there, and I saw it when he was running!!!

There are big problems in Ca. You know that and so do I. Aarnold pretending not to know English very well, isn't, or shouldn't be, a reason to keep supporting him.

What can we do to help you folks out there?

I admit, it worries me a little that some MSM are saying Ca. could turn RED!!!!!

9. There were many of us who recognized Davis was doing
the job under difficult circumstances and we didn't worry about his personality. He also did a lot of personal favors for common people who wrote him about their problems, including myself. He was reelected and would still be Governor if it wasn't for the recall, which I am suspicious was hatched in the White House.

Keep doing that blog thing. We also need to give Ahnold some really bad press about his sexual assault history and his legal immigrant status. The pressure needs to be put on. I have a story from the San Jose Mercury about the fact that he may not have been in this country legally before he got permanent immigrant status. Since it's an old article and I can't copy and paste it onto a post, I will PM it to you in it's entirety if you ask me to.

14. Well, aparently Maria is helping promote his BAD image!
I admit, I was a bit surprised that "if his kids don't put their clothes away, Ahnold burns them in the fireplace! I guess MAria said this on Ophra. You and I both know his kids don't go nude! I guess MAria is very supportive of the big name brand clothes all the time!!!!

I suspect a lot of Californians think he's just a really stupid asshat!!!!

Exactly why were so many on the ballot? Suppose some kind of pay exchanged hands there?

31. There was all kinds of chicanery in that election,
including the lack of voting space in low income neighborhoods as contrary to spacious well equipped and staffed precincts in Red strongholds like Orange County. Sounds a bit like Ohio?

If only those who participated in this would turn deep throat and tell a credible journalist what really happened in California.

28. for so many to simply dismiss his sexual assault on women
just pisses me off. cant look at the man or his movies the same from what i learned. why isnt at least 51% of the population just outraged, this man feels so entitled to just grab a woman and totally ignore how she may feel about it.

and then press and others shrug as if it isnt a big to do. totally putting the woman in her place all over again

37. He was taken to court on some of those assaults during
the election, but hard pressure from his camp, and I wouldn't doubt some threats we don't know about, made those cases disappear in a hurry. Articles written in the LA Times about it were silenced, no follow up and I think a few reporters got into some kind of trouble. Nothing to see here, move along. I haven't dug into this for awhile because it all got hushed up, the evidence disappeared and he became governor.

Discrediting women on sexual assault charges is an old game and the discrimination still exists. I think the illegal alien allegations could carry more weight if someone wants to dig deep into some facts. It seems the INS was complicit and maybe the Freedom of Information Act could force them to release records if some Journalist wants to pursue this.

23. "[I]t worries me a little that some MSM are saying Ca. could turn RED!"
I'm wondering if their saying that could be a prelude to black boxes in every district. As time goes on, I find myself a little more skeptical about the election fraud issue, but I'm not stupid enough to completely dismiss it.

I know who owns those voting machines and if we see them turn up in California and if California goes red, I'll know for sure there is fraud. There is no way in hell California will go red unless someone messes with the votes. Even rural folk here are starting to wake up a bit. I "got it" when * decided to invade Iraq. My cousin figured it out with help from her boyfriend who flew spy planes over Iraq. She isn't as rabid as I am, but she gets it. We're both ex-Republicans. I know I'm sharing only anecdotal evidence, but with the corporate-controlled media in charge, there's no way to know the truth.

27. California has a lot of Republicans.
The liberal areas are on the coast and in the urban areas. Fortunately that population is large enough to make a small majority. The rest of the state is pretty red. I fear it wouldn't take much to tip the balance.

Since Barbara Boxer has managed to get votes in those red areas we are going to need many more like her to get back in charge.

Still, I just can't believe the whole state could go red. Of course, Reagan won it back in the day, didn't he? Sigh.

I wanna move to the coast...sniff.

34. California was once known as a red state.
The entrenched Republicans were shocked when Jerry Brown's father Pat Brown was elected Governor way back when. (I don't remember the exact dates of his governorship except that I was still in school.)

Der Gropenfurher knows how to discipline his children. And god forbid that someone else use his kids' old clothing. He'd rather burn them than have some poor Mexican or Black child wearing designer labels.
The guy has a pure Aryan, master-race mentality. I pity the people of California, but they voted for this muscle head.

10. No we didn't!
We were railroaded!. Even in the manufactured recall election Davis still got more votes. It was the stupid rules that handed the election to Arnold and considering how sloppily put together that election was, I am not confident the results aren't fraudulent. I, one sickly old woman, do not have the resources to go out and start turning up rocks. I wish someone would, preferably one of our Democratic leaders.

Yes.

Maria and Eunice were guests on Oprah the other day, along with one of Maria's daughters in the audience but speaking now and then.

Turns out Arnold is some kind of warped Nazi-like order freak. As Maria said, doesn't he have enough to do in the Guv's mansion?

Sheesh!

15. people who take to burning clothes are usually locked up in a mentalhealth
ward ---usually diagnosed as schizophrenics, or depression with some psychotic episode ... but, burning clothes ...whatever the diagnosis usually lands them in the ward. so... why hasn't it arnold?

can maria be happy in that kind of an environment?

and for sure, the children can not.

19. If I was his kid ...
I'd leave all the clothes I didn't want anymore lying around so that I'd get replacements that I like. Most kids would be able to think that up on their own, so how is this punishment?

On the lighter side, this story did remind me of something a co-worker once told me. When she was a teen, sharing a room with her sister, they were forever leaving their clothes on the floor. They came home one day to find that their father had hammered nails into the floor, with the tops sticking out about an inch or so. They asked him why he'd done that, and his reply was "That's the only your clothes will ever be hung up!"

33. After the Oprah appearance
my mother and I were discussing what other crap he pulls that Maria doesn't talk about in public. We were both of the opinion that if some middle class woman was on Oprah's show talking about her husband doing this stuff, Oprah would also have had a psychologist on to explain to the woman why this is abuse and why she should take the kids and leave.

OK Arnold is a groping GOP knob but seriously child abuse??

My (Communist) father smashed my electric heater after telling me a million times NOT to run it all night.

A friends dad chopped the electric cord off their TV beause the kids kept ignoring his requests to finish their homework before watching it

If Clinton cracked the shits at Chelsea and chucked some of her stuff would that make him a control freak child abuser?
