I rewatched the movie Primal Fear with Ed Norton

I hadn't seen the movie in a few years and found it in the used movie bin at our local video store for $4.

What a good movie, the cast is full of big names that weren't so big at the time, Ed Norton is the seventh person listed in the credits.

This movie came out a few years before the priest molestation cases took the national spot light, and it also has some very interesting political sides stories.

I think that Richard Gere plays a lawyer convincingly and Laura Linney is great too.

But hands down Ed Norton steals this movie, funny that his two greatest roles to date are spilt personality characters. His turn from Aaron the alterboy to Roy is just awesome.

So if you haven't seen it you can find it online for like $9 on DVD. It is a really good movie, watch it just to see Ed Norton give one of the best performances of his career or to see Richard Gere grill John Mahoney's character on the stand.

OHH it is such a good scene,

3. It's a very under rated movie, I saw it in the theater and was floored

by Ed Norton. Primal Fear was the first time I saw him in a movie, and it was such a treat to be blown away like that by a new comer. Ed Norton is a great guy, a good democrat too from what I've read, I'd love to a have a conversation with him in real life.

I love Fight Club, it is one of my favorite movies. The eye candy in that move actually comes in second to the phenominal performanices and truely orignal script.

Primal Fear is a great courtroom drama, I love the back story about the land developement scam. It has a lot of surprizes.

5. It's a tie, I thought Cuba Godding did a greay job and was deserving
of the Oscar. But Ed Norton is a personal favorite of mine, I love his brains and talent.

I thought his script for Freda was a bonus to the movie.
