Will Bush's approval rating rise if gas prices go down?
Every article that refers to Bush's poor approval ratings attribute it to the high gas prices. Is there any proof of this, or is the press once again making excuses for the president? What about Schiavo, Social Security, the poor economy, the stock market, the lack of jobs, the Iraq war, etc..?

Does the press even try anymore?

9. So, you are okay with the world economy being destroyed...
just so you can see people having to walk or ride to work.

Brilliant...

Are you saying that the only reason Bush's approval ratings are low is because of the high gas prices?

7. I'm sure there will be a bump, but I think many are more disgusted...
with his overall performance during his second term. His main focus has been on Social Security and his Budget(both disasters). Higher gas prices just helped to push the poor ratings along.

Now, if he can be linked to lowering the gas prices, I think you will see a big jump in his approval ratings. What am I saying, the media will find a way to link lower gas prices to him... if we ever get lower gas prices.

8. AWOL Bush's poll #'s have been low for most of his "presidency"
Edited on Mon Apr-25-05 09:09 AM by bushisanidiot
high gas prices are just adding extra fuel to the fire. AWOL's oil buddies are making trillions off this fake oil crisis, just like AWOL's Enron buddy Ken Lay did.

President Pussy has done nothing but use 9/11 as a way to make money for his buddies at the expense of the american tax payer.

He has done more to harm this country than any one person in history.
