Gannon said he entertained Blair and now the SS logs may back him up
One of the many questions that were being asked back during the Gannon/Guckertgate was this one from Americablog:

"In what capacity did you entertain Tony Blair during his visit on July 17, 2003?" http://americablog.blogspot.com/2005/03/questions-media-should-be-asking.html

And now that we have the logs from the Secret Service, we see that Gannon/Guckert indeed made a visit to the White House on that date.

According to the log Gannon/Guckert missed the briefing, which was held at 12:36-1:17. However, he showed up to the White House at 4:43 p.m. and left at 6:13 p.m.

Blair was in town on that date. http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ho/30645.htm

Where is the Liberal Media when you need them? :sarcasm:

1. Was it "pro bono" entertainment, or did Tony have to pay...
...like other clients?

16. Sounds like just enough time for a dinner and 'nightcap.'
Doubtless Blair was "on the House." Though someone clearly picked-up the "tab." (Taxpayers, no doubt.)

6. That's too weird
I wonder if they deleted the wrong thread because I alerted on mine and gave them a link to the thread that people could be directed to. Oh well....

8. Sorry!
You're right about the word getting spread, but I hate for things to be unfair to the people who have taken their time out to post and add links and all.

11. How do we find out what other reporters *entertained* Blair that day?
IF we are talking about just Bush and Blair and Guckert in a cozy meeting then that says to me that Guckert's connection in the WH is Bush himself...why would bush be introducing (for instance) Rove's boyfriend to blair?

14. Well my question is...
Why is a "serious journalist" entertaining a head of state? And at whose behest?

Somethin' be stankin' all up in Copenhagen!
