I saw posts from PDittie and Lisa0825 in the General Discussion area. I didn't think you could get them from the Texas board.

3. LOL! Hey, I get around now and then:-)
I just happen to really like the Texas board:-) I even meander through the groups regularly, which could use some more traffic, people!

We've had a lot of goings on 'round here lately. Lots to talk to neighbors about! I even made it on CNN from the Tom Delay protest, and John Coby made it on the Daily Show!

5. Hey there!
You should stop by more often. And I did see your hands at the protest. But I missed CNN's clip, that is great!

8. Sure I believe you... I was just pulling your leg. *grin
But snow in April ? Well... like they say, if we don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change. They must be talking about the Panhandle. Certainly not down here... Now I am really curious... time to go visit a weather site.

12. Oh sweetie, I was pulling your leg too about the snow.
Haven't you heard the phrases..."it's going to snow or it's going to rain" when it actually is not? Because of the fact that Lisa and PDittie posted in GD is the reason I said it. You must be a youngen!:hi:

9. Here in Minneapolis today...
I left the house and it was sprinkling, drove 2 miles into an ice storm and 3 miles later the sun was out...

My granddad used to blame weird weather in Neil Armstrong for walking on the moon!!!

11. No kidding, he BELIEVED that!!!
He was born in 1890, fought and was a POW in WW1, emigrated from Checkoslovakia, worked the mines and the mills and ended up with a 86 acre farm in Ohio.

I was a 'space-geek' kid in the 60s and he loved to torment me about the WASTE that was the space program...

14. Snow!
Don't mention that terrible word. We've had some of the worst April weather I've seen in 30 years here in Northwestern Pennsylvania. We have now had over 170 inches for the season. But this is not nearly our record. Back in 2002 we had 245 inches. Our average is 150 inches per season with the first snows occuring in Oct. and the last measurable snow well into April.

15. And we've had great weather for April here in Texas.
Houston area that is. Not too humid...just right, imo. Sorry about that.
