The Oregon Board of Massage Therapists dropped its investigation into Jefferson Kincaid, President Bush's masseur during an August 2002 visit. Kincaid, the board said, may have violated patient confidentiality by talking to Tribune columnist Phil Stanford about the presidential massage. But a letter to "the victim" -- the president -- went unanswered and the investigation was dropped.

As a member of the Portland Marathon massage team and one of the two or three top massage therapists in town, Jefferson Kincaid was a logical choice to give the presidential massage when George W. Bush came to town two weeks ago.
On Aug. 21, the day before the president was due to arrive, Kincaid had an interview with a woman from the White House advance team. She told him the team wanted someone who could do some “deep tissue work” — although after talking with her for a few minutes, Kincaid realized she didn’t really have much of an idea of what that meant. However, since “depth” is relative anyway, he didn’t try to explain it to her.
As it happens, Kincaid’s specialty is the piriformis muscle, which is located deep within the human buttocks. As he explains it, there are three gluteal muscles on the outside of each buttock and six rotator muscles — including the piriformis — beneath them. If the piriformis is tensed up, as Kincaid explains it, you’re going to have back pain.

The massage took place after Gordon Smith’s fund-raiser, in the presidential suite on the 22nd floor of the Hilton Portland. Kincaid had brought his massage table, and the president of the United States, in the altogether of course but covered by a sheet, lay on it.
Kincaid started by asking the president if he had any aches and pains.

In fact, the president did seem to be in excellent shape for a man 56 years of age. He told Kincaid that he lifted weights and ran.
As Kincaid started to work on him, though, he began noticing “stops,” as he calls them — a tenseness in certain “centers,” indicating the blockage of energy and emotion.

the White House could be using his services. I find it pretty important that the two people obtaining his passes were SO close to the president and Laura though. The whole thing is a WHOLE lot closer than I EVER expected it to be and this is just the FIRST stage of an investigation. These records were obtained through a FOIA request. What do you suppose a closed door investigation might reveal?

Honestly, I don't know how this has stayed out of the nightly news. Even if they are all owned and operated by conservatives THIS is HUGE! You would think "conservatives" would want to get these "abominations," as they like to call them,exposed ASAP.

That statement has no bearing whatsoever on how I feel BTW. I have no problem with anyones choice of sexual orientation. The only problem I have is with what is STILL considered a "criminal" offense in Washington DC. If Clinton can get impeached over a straight sex BJ with a consenting and UNPAID adult female THIS should CERTAINLY be grounds for the same!

Since Republicans are so fond of changing the law to fit their agenda I suppose we'll soon see them saying prostitution among government officials should be legalized!

I figured Gannon was being blackmailed by someone on the White House staff. That would have explained the easy questions and the puff pieces. Then he didn't turn on them despite everything being revealed, so that isn't it. Now I really wonder who he was seeing. It is clear that he was seing someone. After having read yesterday about the apparent ease GiGi had in entering and exiting the White House, it seems more likely his inside contact was someone very high up.

I don't think someone, for example, on the level of White House Press Secretary (Scott McClelland) would have the clout to supersede Secret Service security procedure.

As for being there when Bush wasn't, couldn't a rendezvous have been arranged between GiGi and George, only for GiGi to be "stood up" when George is whisked away at the last minute on some "presidential duty?"
