The Terri Schiavo case was covered last month on the Fox News cable show, "Hannity & Colmes."

The show is co-hosted by rightwinger Sean Hannity and leftwinger Alan Colmes.

On March 31, Sean Hannity coached two nurses about to be interviewed by Hannity's co-host Alan Colmes. The nurses are Trudy Capone and Carla Sauer Iyer and they claimed that Terri Schiavo's condition wasn't so bad, after all.

Before the interview, Hannity instructed them to answer questions from Alan Colmes by saying:

I'm hear to tell you what I saw, no matter what the question...I'm hear to tell you what I saw, I'm not going to be distracting by silliness.

Does Hannity assume whatever his co-host Alan Colmes says will be "silliness?"

If so, Hannity lacks respect for Colmes.

Or does Hannity expect Colmes to ask valid questions, but want those valid questions dismissed as "silliness?"

If so, Hannity lacks respect for the Fox News audience.

That's how Hannity respects Colmes.

Does Alan Colmes respect Alan Colmes?

He lets them package him in that horrible suit, those awful glasses, the terrible haircut.

Colms is only around Faux so that Slanthead Hannity has an easy target to dominate and humiliate.

Soon, someone with testicles will challenge him on this when he asks a question about apologizing or ethical behavior. I thought that that guy that speaks through his nose might do it(Ellis?),but, I was wrong. The guy I would love to have on is that Irish Congressman/Senator from Ohio that told it like it is about the lying going into the war.I can't recall his name but the video was floating around for awhile.

Whether he's done much recently to earn respect, I can't say, since I rarely watch "Hannity & Colmes" or listen to Colmes' current radio show.

I think Colmes must be the highest paid person of Faux, they must pay him a ton to be Hannity's little bit*h.

He is a paid shill on the official GOP propaganda channel. He takes a dive night after night. He's nebbishy and doesn't try to improve his appearance (sorry, folks but appearance is EVERYTHING on TV.) He has a face made for radio, but he's almost as mealy-mouth and conciliatory to the ultra-right on his radio show as he is on Hannity and Doormat.

Lastly, he deserves no respect, because he wears the "liberal" label on the network and allows them to use it as evidence that they are "fair and balanced" - hell he even used the word "liberal" on the cover of his unpopular book. This in spite of the fact that he has admitted that he is NOT a liberal, but rather a centrist.

How the hell is a show with a centrist and an ultra-right-winger "balanced"?

his glib, smarmy ass doesnt respect anything. But could you really ask anyone to respect Colmes? Ive been sickened for years that his face is that of the liberals to fauxwatchers. He is a tool, best way put.

Hannity/Colmes=Abbott/Costello=Martin/Lewis= Dumb/Dumber...it is all corporate entertainment.

I cant watch him all it does is raise my blood pressure. I would rather listen to Air America and NPR.

I've only watched a few times, but that was enough. Any self-respecting Liberal would either stand up and tell Hannity to talk to the hand or find another venue.
