FRIST and looking for any RN's, Ancillary staff who worked with him

I'm a nurse and BOY do I have stories and OPINions
regarding the surgeons, etc. that I have worked with...

There have GOT to be some out there who could drop
a clue to whom we are dealilng with here.????

I have a million stories on some of those Docs I used to work with and some of them are quite horrible. Surgeons especially.

5. I married one of them

who comes from a family of them. Mine is not a surgeon however so we were able to come to terms with the fact that I was an actual person. It has been an interesting ride to say the least.

But a ByPass surgeon HAS to be a dick, right?
although I know a a vascular surgeon who bucks that notion 360.

So what ahbout Vanderbilt University? I'm trying to learn the ins and outs of moving info to this site from others. Let's just say, I give better morphine. How do we get others to give us an up an up?

but with these guys I would not be surprised if everyone who ever worked with him has been threatened to silence. Who knows?

We have the grandson of Gandhi as one of our cardiovascular surgeons here. One of the nicest guys I have ever met but I doubt his grandfather would approve of his red Lamborghini. It might be a Ferrari though, I don't know.

9. There has got to be a story that is unforgivable

or unforgetable. I'll never forget the time a surgeon called me stupid. I was doing recovery room, and got a pre-op (week-end call)
While I had a fresh post-op they sent down the pre-op, (small bowel obstruction) SENT the family with him and his NG tube wasnt controlling the nausea. They begged me to do something. There were no orders in the record so I called the MD (with the fam in fromt of me) He says "of course he's nauseated, he's got a SBO, What are you stupid?" My reply, is the NG is functioning, the fam is in front of me what do you want me to do? DICK

Damn, there has to be stuff on him. I was pretty lucky since I was in the ICU they mostly had enough respect to not be that bad. There were a few but mostly we all got on well enough and since I worked nights they really had to rely on us since there was nobody else around to solve problems.

I loved the flying spit myself. "Clear." Pow! Seriously though, I was up on the bed one night doing CPR during a code, 8 months pregnant and the most adorable ER doc was just standing there, his hand on my rear end keeping my bulky pregnant body from falling off. Some of them are really nice almost like regular people lol.
