4. I'm picking up really bad vibes from him
even since he returned from his Papal PR tour, could be anything, but I really look for him to do serious ranting that will blame dems
and anybody with a brain. Look for him to say dems holding back his "good picks" Bolton and Judicial nominees and his crusade to save social security.

12. I remember the evening Nixon resigned.
My whole family sat in front of the TV in complete silence and total shock. Not a word was spoken. The next day Nixon flew away on a helicopter. Gone. Just like that.

It could happen again.

7. Something stupid of course.
Don't need to be clairvoyant to predict that. Just heard what he said about getting away from our dependence on fossil fuels and how we should look into coal technology.

15. Yeah, I saw the same thing. Seems he's got some buddies who are
in coal, and they know some GOOD TECHNOLOGY, yeah, that's the ticket, and we just need to relax all remaining clean air standards and pay them a whole lot of money. He's got some NUKULAR power plant buddies too, and some that want to build some more of them.. Gotta relax those regulations and pay them a lot of money too.

Solar power? Wind power? Hey, he never heard of those. Guess he doesn't have buddies in those areas.

20. Also, coal is a fossil fuel. What was he thinking?
Solar and wind power were pretty much developed by hippie types too. You won't catch him with hippies I don't think.

21. Yeah, but there's lots of coal and there's also all that oil shale in the
western states. When the blivet** says "technology" he's not talking about sensible long-range technological development, like more efficient solar power, he's talking about giving business to the special interests who own the coal and can get the oil shales if they can be made to produce oil in the future. They're mostly the same people who handle oil.

In the meantime, he certainly doesn't want to slow down the profits for his oil industry cronies - that's his family business and his hold on power.

What a corrupt little pissant.

29. That's just a show
I think. He's always going to be an oil man. It's in his blood. Maybe he's just jealous of Governor Bredesen of Tennessee. He's starting to work with green power for state parks.

social secuity has to go private, americans who love freedom, want the freedom to have private accounts.
