And Opus Dei seems to be joining up with them.

Imagine Ashcroft and Santorum tag teaming as Grand Inquisitor.

10. Anything Catholic is being
used for political convenience and ascendency. If they assume power, they will not consider Catholics part of the power share process.

12. Yup. They'll turn on the Catholics. (Some already have.)
Dominionism arose out of a particularly anti-Catholic subset of Protestantism.

Then, they'll turn on each other.

5. The latest Harper's Magazine has TWO long articles...
about these creeps. VERY GOOD articles. Their ties to corps, politics, and the economy, their racist roots, and most importantly (to me) their (no longer covert, in fact very OVERT) goal of overthrowing the constitution and installing "gods law".

one article focused on Colorado Springs - the city evangelicals call their "Jerusalem". Church leaders and congregants "hearing voices"---AND LISTENING TO THEM! Touring the country with a bombed bus from israel, telling of the EVIL muslims.

Their "mainstream" preachers - mainstream in the fact that they have hundreds of thousands of followers - are telling their congregations:
1) that they have to be willing to kill and to be killed to ensure the rise of a christian country (complete with firearms training and contests)
2) the gospels do not matter --- old testament and revelations are the important parts of the bible
3) our god is a very bloody god, not a god of peace
4) helping the poor, hungry, etc is UNIMPORTANT. Installing "gods law" is all that REALLY matters.

it goes on and on- their antisemitism and overall racism, churches with multiple 40 ft TV's, smoke machines, services with the production values of a hollywood musical. etc etc etc.

They are beyond scary...they are overtly preaching the overthrow of our gov't AND our way of life.

8. I just read those articles. The other thing that is kind of creepy
is the "cell structures" and other sub-organizations that they have. I find it very disturbing to think of people who are so brainwashed they have to have these group leaders telling them what to do and think.

I had a relative involved with Amway, and it was a similar thing. They have these "upline' guys directly above them in the organization that tell them how to live their personal lives.

Combined with all their militaristic and hate and "spiritual warfare" talk, it's getting really far out there.

11. Cell structures?
I haven't read the articles yet -- the Harper's is still on my coffee table waiting for me to come out of my allergy-induced fog -- but who else so we know that operates through cell creation?

Another connection between the Christian Taliban and al-Qaeda.

17. A page from Mao's "Little Red Book"...
The textbook on small cell operations.

The Minesota Milita (was one of the largest, most organized) is now practicing small cell operations.

14. Chris Hedges wrote one (both?) of those
The same guy on the radio show. The show has a Christian Dominionist on as well, and he had some very interesting things to say (name forgotten). This guy states makes a distinction between those who seek Christian dominion by following a Christian lifestyle, with the expectation that others around them will become Christian, eventually making everyone so. He considered the Dobson crown to be 'activists' who seek to make this happen by force of law and government, and the guest was quite against Dobson et. al.

It's worth a listen. The Dobson crowd is especially frightening, they seek nothing less than 'Christian' totalitarianism, the type we haven't had in the West since the days of the Inquisition.

I will go buy Harper's on my way home today.

6. And as usual, they've misdefined "dominion" and warped it into
their own, twisted, bullshit agenda. Funny how folks take stuff from the Bible and do that.

9. It is!!!!!!
I discovered the Dominionism thing a couple of years ago. Literally, it scared the crap out of me (and still does). Reading it actually gave some sense and logic to the insanity that's been going on.

But, as usual, I got labelled a loony left conspiracy theorist...so, I just shut up. :(

18. Scary Dominionism
Scary is right. I don’t know how much history you were able to catch, but this is what I gathered. Warning, conspiracy “Da Vinci Code” type stuff to follow. Whether you believe Jesus was a Jew or an Essene he wasn’t Northern European. How is it the King of the World, the Rex Monde is going to come out of America? Have you heard of the Anglo-Israeli Doctrine? This doctrine managed to tie Anglos to Jews, making any white person who joined one of these religious groups, a member of the twelve tribes of Israel, the chosen people.

Okay, remember back to the pre-election blur when it came out that both Bush and Kerry were Skull and Bones members? There was also the info that they were cousins, descendents of the Merovingian Kings. Okay, the deal is, the conspiracy part is, that the Merovingians have the same blood as Jesus. So as for the second coming, all the Dominionists loosely associate this to mean, the rise of the ancestor of Jesus. The King to unite the nations. The King of Peace. 'Course, after the murder of dissenters/Islamics/anybodynotassimilated
you will have peace, no one will be left to fight. You will have the Borg. I warned you it was whacked.

15. Theocracy Watch is another good source...
Lots of detailed information here:

www.theocracywatch.org/

For those strong of stomach, check out Concerned Women for America:

www.cwfa.org/main.asp

Beverly (Mrs Tim "Left Behind) LaHaye founded the group to fight the Equal Rights Amendment. The site is a good source for the stories soon to be seen in letters to the editor & the more gullible "news" sources.
