Judy Woodruff, "Inside Politics" Anchor, Leaving CNN
NEW YORK (AP) - Judy Woodruff, the anchor of CNN's "Inside Politics," is leaving the network when her contract expires in June.
Woodruff, 58, said Thursday that she hoped to teach, write and work on long-form documentaries. She'll also be a consultant and occasional contributor to CNN.

"This gives me the opportunity to sit back, take a deep breath and think about what I want to do," Woodruff told The Associated Press. "I do want to stay in journalism. I'm not leaving journalism. I'm just leaving daily journalism."

CNN offered Woodruff a new contract, but she had decided to leave before those discussions began.

5. She Should Be Ashamed Of Her Descent Into Ignorant Propaganda...
Edited on Thu Apr-28-05 02:01 PM by GR
She was once a fine journalist when she worked for PBS on The NewsHour.

She has been simply embarrassing of late...She sat and stared as republicans lied to her about the 217 years without a filibuster for judicial nominees BIG LIE.

I know she has a disabled child and feel sorry about that and she is married to Al Hunt, but Al has also declined in ability and energy for truth.

They are victims of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I think a suitable replacement would be Gwen Ifill. Ifill is even more of a whore for Bush than Woodruff has become and if she ever takes over The Newshour I will have to stop watching it...I'd like to get her off of PBS...

6. Judy Woofwoof 'moves on'...
like she'll be missed or something,

she descended into the crater with the rest of the syncophants at CNN. She actually had some promise at one time when she was with NPR, I believe.

Big loss, big woof.

14. And rotating buckets for the viewers to barf in.
I say put them both on as a team, then sloooowly build a cage around the set. When they finally go after each other, we can just lock the door. Could be a wild three weeks of TV.

11. Announcement should read:
"The mass of wrinkles around her pencil neck finally swallowed up her head. Ms. Woodruff will undergo reconstructive surgery and her new job will be to host 'Extreme Plastic Surgery' on the Discovery Channel"

(oh dear, was I being too catty?...nah, not possible)
