Poll question: Will any reporter have the courage tonight?
Edited on Thu Apr-28-05 02:52 PM by mtnester
What do you think? Do you think anyone will deviate from the pre-approved pablum and ask a question that will leave this administration shaken to the core?

Place your bets Amurika....do you think anyone in MSM has any courage left at all? Do any of them love this country enough to sacrifice their job maybe?

1. Maybe someone will have the courage . . .
But let's look at it another way, shall we, craven media elite? The walls are starting to crumble; they're not there yet, but it's coming. The one that starts the avalanche will get the fame, the money, the celebrity. It's a dangerous game, but someone, someday will cash in on the prize. Will it be you?

Hopefully.

2. I am cautiously hopeful
The White House press corps is becoming a laughing stock of late night comedians - they need to buck up or find another gig.

3. no - not because of "love" but because their media owners won't allow it.
and none of the MSM has the balls to stand up to their corporate bosses.

4. They are all bought and paid for. They do what they are told..
and ask what they are ordered to ask.
My News-Journalist father is spinning in his grave! He was "objective" and even lost a job for being that way (Manchester Union Leader).

6. No...
they really loathe this administration, but they don't want to lose their precious, cushy jobs with the White House Press Corps. They'll pull a Gannon/Guckert, throw softball questions and report whatever is on the White House Press Release.

They have to protect those soft, easy, Washington jobs that they worked so hard to get during the Clinton years, when they were treating a blow job as if it was a Constitutional crisis. They're just laying back and enjoying the fruits of their labors from demonizing Bill Clinton. Above all, they don't want to jeopardize those cushy jobs. They're fucking lazy hacks who won't ask bush anything tougher than, "did you eat all of your lunch today"?

7. I voted that someone will
Perhaps someone will channel Sam Davidson or perhaps Lou Dobbs will sneak in the back door.

Lord, I wish someone would ask him a question that would make him choke on his tongue, lose his composure and expose himself for who he really is.
