2. I've gone four months without cable
and I don't miss it. Moved to a place that can get a bunch of stations with rabbit ears, and I can get by with just that. It's good to save forty bucks a month, too.


I can get all of my news from the Internet without having to sit through DiTech commercials!

3. You won't miss it.
And if your kid wants to be in front of the tv then you can afford more video games. Its best to keep their mind involved with problem-solving like that than letting them just sit there without doing anything mentally active.

4. Or even better
1) reading books
2) doing art or craft projects
3) running around outside with other kids
4) listening to music

5. He's learning algebra and algebra and TV don't make good
bedfellows. We had a real rowel over it... but I won. LOL
