Ya know that current $80 billion "emergency supplemental bill" for Iraq???
The one where a bunch of republicans said SCREW YOU & DIE to our troops by voting NO to adding an additional $213 million for armored humvees for our troops?

Could someone explain to me why that $80 billion emergency supplemental bill for Iraq & Afghanistan includes things like $23 million for a baseball stadium in DC and $32 million for forest roads in California???

17. Well, there is a whole backstory
to this that makes me sick, actually caused me to flare up... so welcome to yet another fever and I go into hospital on Monday.

I wish my body could withstand my spirit, but I think I am driving it further into the illness.

Andy and I were supposed to go together... now he goes on Wed, but I still go on Monday. No 2 for one deal I guess:)

19. the saddest thing is so much is not going where it's needed
they're just using the soldiers as an excuse to suck money into obsolete weapons systems and pork, they'll be back screaming for more to support a bare bones army, while the money is being squandered on frills.
