Ben Stein

We all know he's ultra conservative. Long political and Hollywood carrier, was Nixon's speech writer, etc.. all well known facts. He's also never been shy about his politics on his show, Win Ben Stein's Money, often poking fun at liberalism and his own conservatism. However I have never really heard anything from him that startled me until a few days back. On two episodes of Win Ben Stein's money he made some comments that actually shocked me, though I guess they shouldn't. On one show he had a US military recruit as a guest and it turned out that he was an engineer or something, I can't remember exactly. Anyways Ben Stein said something to the effect of:

"So you guys take care of our minute men rockets don't you? You keep them in working order, service them. (guest sort of nods his head) I wonder how many of those it would take to turn Afghanistan into a flat glassy table?"

On a second show he had someone on who had lived in Germany for 8 years. Ben Stein's Co-host said "Do those guy's over there still hate us?" The guest responded with "No not really almost all of them don't" Then Ben says:

"Aren't most of the guys over there who started that dead by now? You know it's their fault they are the ones who started it . Well if they don't like us fuck them." The swear was beeped out but you could clearly hear that's what he said.

real rat bastard. I never watch ANYTHING he has to say.

personally heard him spew the same hate filed speech I hear from other neocons still the other day.

He writes columns for the NYT business that pretty much take "buy low, sell high" and "savings are good" and stretches them out for five hundred words.
