We need to unite and focus....

After reading a discussion thread about rethug entertainers and people talking about how they didn't like Ah-nuld, it struck me that he may be a repug, but he still became guv-nuh of a very blue state. It occurred to me, that while I may disagree with many repugs, moderate repugs, and RINOs, they are still not the part of the party that repulses me--it's the extreme right, evangelicals. My point is that the GOP beats us because they focus on our extreme left members and assert that this is what represents the democratic party. Without getting into an argument about what percentage of dems are left, and way left, I say we need to focus our efforts in portraying the party as too extreme right. We need to highlight their selling out to Jesus and scare the moderates of both parties into exorcising the ultra-bible-thumpers from prominence. Just a thought...

They are are 4 years ahead and it would be really hard to one up their strategy without contrasting policy plans. While games are important in politics, policy has to be the primary focus and not games. To win you have to contrast the policies that are already in place with policies that will motivate people to change their vote.
