2. antiwar.com mostly features old school conservatives like pat buchanan
and a host of editors and contributors to American Conservative Magazine. Being anti-war isn't progressive, it's common sense, and there are many progressives who were pro-war (John Kerry, John Edwards, etc.) Plus the guy who actually runs it is a libertarian anti-semite.

7. Does that just mean
he opposes Israeli policies? That term gets bandied about quite a bit. Though I do share your discomfort over joining up with the Right on anything.

Good Point. Many people who do not support Sharon's right-wing regime are slandered as anti-Jewish and racists.

The purpose of that name-calling is to end any discussion and debate on Sharon's policies. It's a lot like redbaiting.

any alternative news site is just that....I wouldn't take any of 'em at their word, but I do like to see as many sides of an issue as possible, just so I can get a clear idea of what is going on.

That's why I added 'em.
