Anyone else getting timed out when contacting Raw Story?

Just wondering. I haven't been able to connect this morning. I always get suspicious of denial of service attacks when that happens.

Have you made a study of service at left wings sites versus right wing sites?

Could be your ISP is having DNS issues.

every other site I go to is fine. And it finds the DNS number okay, but just times out when trying to connect.

3. Could simply be heavy traffic
Which makes connecting hard, but is a good thing if it means there's lots of interest out there.
