What's Wrong about being Right: And Right about being Wrong.
I just heard a Fundamentalist Christian, on talk radio, ask why/how to be tolerant when you are right and everyone else is wrong.

Just leaving aside issues having to do with blasphemy . . . .

Tolerance is very hard for many of us. I'm intolerant sometimes, when I choose to be. Perhaps tolerance is hardest for those who are most absolute in their perceptions of something called "right" and something else called "wrong", which they perceive as essential aspects of identity, characteristics possessed by something we refer to as the "self-identity" and "other-identity" (or, sadly, characteristics possessing those identities in some cases!).

Logically, if it is possible for any one or more persons to accurately say "I/We are right" (for whatever reason, Faith or oherwise), then it is possible for EVERYONE to accurately, in truth, say "I/We are right." It is not possible to claim/own any Truth absolutely, unless you are "God".

People need to think about the difference between words and reality.

And I remain very confused about this "Fundamentalist" God who is so tiny, so self absorbed/exclusive, whose weak little creatures can do so MUCH that is "against His will" = impotent; I just do not understand.
