Goddamn It!
This is driving me crazy! Some ad on Randi is set up to sound like a feature of her show. The ad suggests people save up a cash stash by refinancing into an interest-only ARM. All over AAR and the web are ads for interest-only loans.

I don't do TV, but I figure that interest-only loans are being pushed all over.

What the fuck???!!!

Let's all commit economic suicide? ARMs are disastrous in the current economic climate. Interest-only loans are unthinkable. Now they want 40-year mortgages.

The average American cannot be that stupid. What the hell is this??!

1. The American public is drowning in debt. The Financial sharks have
ripped a big hole in the security net with their Bankrupt legislation. People are desperate to find a way to keep treading watter in this declining economy. People make bad decisions in times of stress as we are in now.

2. I wonder if any of the AAR talk hosts are being told not to talk against
interest only loans? It would be SOP for advertisers to require such a request.

3. When I was in college 35 years ago,
I was taught that in order for our economy to run smoothly, 20% of Americans should have as much money and the other 80% put together. Now, 1% has as much money as the other 99%. I believe that alot of desperate people might fall for these interest only loans. Shame on those who push these loans. They will only do more harm to our economy in the long run.

4. they seem desperate for ads
going by what is hawked during their programming.

they obviously care about their programming but apparently not about their ads.

with their apparent high ratings in the premium age groups they should be more selective.

hope this isn't a bad sign =(

peace

5. I'm not dissin' AAR
They are struggling to get off the ground and as evil as the re-fi ads are, I'm willing to accept them as a necessary evil.

The fact that these vile bastards so openly attack the working class, apparently without anyone refuting them, is shocking, horrifying, revolting, you name it.
