I know this will sound paranoid
But I consider myself a realist. As recent history has shown "events"
seem to conveniently "happen" when the going gets tough for the Republicans. As I listened to David Ray Griffin on Cspan last weekend I wondered if we could do anything to prevent the inevitable. One idea was to pool our resources or find a sponsor to buy a full-page ad in the NYT, an open letter.

Along these lines:

The title could be …"We know what you are doing"

Because ... The going is getting rough for the Bush administration
and it has us concerned. If history speaks truth timing is everything and "events" seem to conveniently time themselves to serve as distractions or enablers for our administration's policies and desires.

...We the average ordinary American citizens ask those of you in our Government who were ignored, discounted and silenced prior to September 11th to protect our Nation.

...We ask that you look out for the good of the country, not the good of the administration and/or promoting its goals.

...We ask that you get the word out to us directly … if those in power ignore you.

Etc.

It’s not an outright accusation but when and if an "event"
occurs we could at least let them know we predicted it. I don’t know, just venting out of frustration I guess.

1. No I think this is a good point and idea
We should say it now, that we know how this group works and it's not about playing games.

5. I would ask that the President be a true leader and lead people out
of their fears by solving problems rather than creating problems (lack of transparency in voting) so they can play the electorate off of each other.

7. Not paranoid
Your post indicates you've been paying attention to the actions and motives of the regime.
