If neocons prevail, how will revisionist history read in 2050?
Edited on Wed May-04-05 12:54 PM by maveric
Lets say from the Civil War/Slavery to the World Wars to the New Deal to JFK's assasination to Viet Nam to The Reagan /Bush years to Clinton to Chimperor to 9/11 to Iraq war and so on....

How would the history that we know be tweaked and revised to make the neocon agenda shine?

3. Depends on where you place the center of power
If you think the center of power is the political/military complex, the rewritten history will be quite different than if you think the center of power is the religious reich theocratic complex.

It is apparent that these two groups are working together now, but what is not apparent is who is using whom, and who will seize total power in the end.

Theocracies have had much longer, much more stable reigns than political/military dictatorships.

Look at the Catholic Church from 700 AD to 1700 AD. They had a thousand year reign of terror over the entire world, transcending and superseding all the governments and armies of the world. They destroyed civilization, plunged mankind into the Dark Ages, and kept the human spirit down for a thousand years until the dawn of the Age of Reason and the Enlightenment.

I do not fear God, but his followers scare the crap out of me.
