How to beat the BFEE at one of their own games.
Recently, the BFEE has started to deny any association between Saddam Hussein and 9-11. Until last week, they have been doing their best to plant the idea in the minds of the average American that Iraq was responsible, but, as far as I know, they never actually said it. Mostly, they just linked the war in Iraq with the war on terror and the war on terror with 9-11, but they left themselves plausable deniability. This is the game they play.

If Democrats come out and accuse them of deliberately misleading the American people, they will deny it and the press will let them get away with it at the expense of the Democrats who make the accusations. Instead of directly accusing them, Democrats should play the same plausable deniability game. Strongly imply that they BFEE has been deliberately trying to mislead the American people in this area without actually saying it. If the Republicans cry foul, the Democrats can deny everything while drawing more attention to the BFEE's subterfuge.

1. They definitely linked Iraq w/ Al Quaeda though

and there are numerous quotes of them doing so. So while they can claim they technically didn't really link SH to 9/11, they did link Iraq to Al Quaeda, and that's all we need. Let them flop around making these denials, it only makes things worse. The difference is too subtle for most people to get.

They're going to lose on this strategy, but apparently they don't have a choice, or they don't really understand what they're trying to do. Truth is ALWAYS their last refuge, but here's their real problem. They counted on making and EMOTIONAL pitch to the public by inferring an Iraq-9/11 link in order to sell the war. Now they want people to draw a LOGICAL conclusion; that in fact, they never did claim an Iraq-9/11 link. It won't happen. This is going to blow back in their face.
