I heard a little of this interview this afternoon and was very impressed y Shelby Knox. She eventually even left her Southern Baptist Church. This issue, and its reality which she was seeing every day at school, transformed her into a Liberal.

I'm kicking because I thought some DUers might be interested in the PBS program coming up on this in June.

Where I live, the Jane Pauley show airs during my working hours, so I've never seen it.

But I certainly agree with you on the importance of this topic, and your post inspired me to go to the PBS website and look up the program you mentioned. Thank you for the heads up! I hope to catch the June 21st airing of "The Education of Shelby Knox" (extra plug ;-) ).
