Renaming The Estate Tax Repeal
The Republicans are using semantics and language to push forward their plan to abolish estate taxes. I think that we progressives should turn the tables on them.

My own suggestion for any right-wing bill to repeal the estate tax would be to rename such a proposal the "Billionaire Heiress' Tax Relief Act."

1. Billionaires generally don't pay estate taxes
Only people who lack the financial savvy to figure out a way around them actually pay estate taxes.

Of course, to be truly right-wing, it would probably have to be a catchy acronym, like: "The Financial Underadjustment Compensatory Kickdown Upon Mortality Act."

Before it was the estate tax, it was the inheritance tax. Bring it back.
