Is the runaway bride a Fundie?

Just wondering. She had her minister read her apology and mentioned some deep seated emotional problems. I had this thought that she might have unresolved sexual issues that fundamentalism could certainly have caused. Does anyone have more information about this woman? She seems to be in deep emotional pain, unless this is all a ruse to excuse a whim, but she is no kid (I believe she is in her 30s)and this seems a little odd.

Yeah, she has to be a bored-again Christian. But the pic that's been shown a lot makes her look like she either has an amphetamine problem or just naturally appears to be fully deranged. (As a gay FORMER fundy preacher, I would say she has some serious emotional/sexual problems which are probably NOT going to be addressed.)

I thought there was something weird about this woman. I actually feel very sorry for her. She seems to have some problems that she can't get through.

I'm sure she is in a lot of pain because her cold feet is making the world give her and her familty the cold shoulder. Though she was imature and irresponsible i think the problem will heal when we stop picking at it. Though it is an intresting point i still just wish the attention will stop. I wonder how long until the media lets go.

I only posted this because it seems like the fundamentalists have some big psychological problems, causing them to pull these strange stunts. I am wondering if this is some kind of mass psychosis, sort of like the Great Awakenings in America of the late 18th and the 19th centuries.

When they found her the fiancee said that they would "rehabilitate" her which is strange terminology to say the least. I heard Tammy Bruce (the Rightwing "She's a chick with a gun and a microphone" radio host - you wouldn't believe what drek they have on the radio around here - and no Air America) anyway, I heard Tammy Bruce wonder if she was trying to escape from a cult - and I thought that made sense. Most thirty year old brides are over the Barbie Gets Married syndrome - 14 bridesmaids is over the top even if you were Paris Hilton. BUT if it was some weird cult wedding . . . I want to see pictures of the bridesmaid's dresses. I bet they'll look like Lawrence Welk get-ups. Or even better, maybe hooded turquoise robes.
And the stuff about cutting her hair ! She really didn't want to be found. When she finally gets in front of a camera, watch her eyes and see if she tries to blink out SOS in Morse code.
