AP says more National Guard going to Iraq to "fight terrorism"
:wtf: kind of headline framing is this?

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — More National Guard members from New Hampshire are headed to Iraq.

A ceremony is planned for Saturday afternoon at the Concord Armory for about 20 soldiers who could be deployed for up to 18 months. The soldiers, from various units, are deploying as part the 2nd Brigade, 28th Infantry Division, a unit of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

About 175 New Hampshire Guard members are deployed in the global war against terrorism.

1. Well now that we're there, & attracted it
I've never been able to understand why we're having a war on a noun.

As far as I'm concerned, they're fighting insurgents, not terrorists.
