I Don't Believe It!!!!!!! CNN Scroll Banner About Bush/Blair and 90 Reps!
Hopefully not a dupe,

But I couldn't believe it when I just saw the scroll on CNN say that 90 Reps want answers from bush on secret memo linking him and blair to planning the war beforehand!!!

I'm hoping this is a good sign that we will in fact see some stories in the sunday papers tomorrow!

Headway is being made. This could be the beginning of the end.

22. How many times have I heard this before?
To my my cynical mind, this is just more wishful thinking, and nothing will come of it (except HOPEFULLY in history books).

Oh, and since I haven't seen you around before, so welcome to DU: :hi:

2. Who are they?
Does anyone have a list or maybe a link to a story about this? I'd love to hear more about it.

Sounds like good news! I'd also like to see a push for answers on the secret plan to invade the next country. We can't just let this stuff go.

3. I actually heard it on CNN
this morning, but they said the info came from a "tabloid Newspaper" in the UK, and I never heard the whole story.

23. The Sunday Times is a serious newspaper that was founded in 1821
And is not 'tabloid' in format or style. If it's being reported like that in the USA, that's a slur designed to throw doubt on the story. Complain to CNN.

10. I was quickly listening to the capital gang as well,
And just happened to catch it scrolling along the bottom.

It basically just scrolled along saying 90 reps want answers from Bush on secret memo stating he plotted the war beforehand.

Or something like that.

9. Me, too, me, too! I was reading the scroll and saw that
and practically fainted! There was also an honest assessment of the blivet in Europe, and the really negative response he's illiciting! I'm hoping this tide is turning!

12. Woohoo! Glad you saw it too. Now I know I'm not going crazy!
All I can think is please please please please break in the papers tomorrow. Doesn't even have to be a huge story, just a real story, widespread. Please Please Please!

I can't help thinking that if it's on the scroll banner of CNN that it is bound to be talked about more in the coming week! I remember the whole Ohio election stuff, reading all the breaking things on DU, but other than KO would never see a mention of it, especially on a banner. If this is there then that's good right?

17. This can't be true...
Sean Hannity did not receive the inside memo on this and get a chance to refute the charge. And, afterall, it was only in a "tabloid" and "I have
been in combat" O'Reilly did not cite the story from his inside people at the Pentagon.

teflon coated story. Well it sure is entertaining. Kind of a cross between reality t.v. and a drama series. The players are the same each week, but the corruption cases change. Will they survive?
Who will win the immunity idol this week? No one gets voted off, however which really takes the edge off.

32. Please read full press release of PDA

at

http://jmpolitics.blogspot.com/2005/05/progressive-democrats-of-america.html

The Progressive Democrats of America released this a couple of days ago.

Also Congressman John Conyers Jr. was brilliant on the Stephanie Miller programme.

And you can get full details at Congressman John Conyers Jr. blog. He is the one behind this entire effort.

Three cheers for Congressman John Conyers Jr.
